DESCRIPTION
PRRISM at Loyola Marymount University tackled the complex challenge of lung cancer research recruitment, particularly among underrepresented communities struggling with diagnosis stigma.
I developed all campaign content with meticulous attention to tone and representation. My work carefully balanced clinical accuracy with empathetic language, creating banner ads and messaging that authentically connected with
men and people of color—historically underrepresented in research participation. The campaign successfully navigated the delicate balance between sensitivity and inclusivity, fostering trust with potential participants while maintaining professionalism. By crafting content that made individuals feel seen and valued rather than defined by their diagnosis, I helped PRRISM achieve their recruitment goals while respecting the emotional complexity of their audience's experience.
